Maintenance stop, new SDS’s and more news

Maintenance stop 2018

For our yearly maintenance stop, our plant will be closed as from 3 November 2018. We expect to be fully operational again by 18 November 2018 at the latest.
To anticipate this production outage we ask you to cooperate by taking the following actions:
Please send in your orders to be delivered during the maintenance period to the customer service office at sales.synres@synres.com before 1 October 2018.
Based on the orders received, we will maximize production in the weeks before the maintenance stop and will place your order in stock.
Take into account that the maintenance stop can also have an effect on orders to be delivered shortly after the maintenance stop. Especially new and last-minute orders will be challenging during this period.
If you have any questions about the maintenance stop, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Safety Data Sheets
Synres has implemented a new software tool in order to create Safety Data Sheets (SDS’s). In the coming months we will start publishing new product SDS’s.

You will receive the relevant SDS’s in the coming months. The latest safety information was obtained from the database of the software supplier and the Reach registration dossier from the ECHA website.

We have done our utmost to minimize differences in the contents of the SDS’s. However, content differences are unavoidable in case of introduction of another (SDS) software tool is being introduced.

In case you have SDS content related questions you can send an e-mail to SDS.Synres@Synres.com.

ISO-9001-2015 and 14001-2015 certificates
We are happy to inform you that Synres has been awarded with the new ISO certification.

For both ISO-9001-2015 and 14001-2015 the necessary work has been done and soon Synres will receive both certificates.

As soon as these have been received, they will be published at our website www.synres.com.

Plant operating system (DCS)
During the maintenance stop as mentioned above, Synres will also migrate and upgrade the automation system of the Alkyd resin plant to a state-of-the-art technology replacing the current, obsolete system from almost four decades ago.

A first important step in this migration project that will be completed within the next 2 years.

With this migration, we are sure to make an enormous step up in terms of quality and reliability. An investment that clearly demonstrates our commitment to the future.

We hope to be of service to you with this information. In case you need additional information, just let us know.

With kind regards,
Pieter van As, marketing & sales director
