Daniël joined the chemical industry through DSM as Finance Director in 2010, where he was responsible for the successful cost restructuring of DSM Synres to restore profitability and readying the company for sale to its new owner. He has 25 years of experience working in Finance & Control functions in different industry sectors such as energy, pensions and logistics. Next to his responsibilities as Finance Director, Daniël lead the implementation of new stand-alone back-end systems and the insourcing of services in order to support Synres’ transition back to independency. Since September 2016 Synres is now fully operating as a stand-alone company.
